Granudacyn® Wound Irrigation Solution

• For acute, chronic and contaminated wounds as well as first and second degree burns

Granudacyn® is an irrigation solution for cleaning and moistening acute, chronic and contaminated wounds
as well as first and second degree burns. Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) ensures safe preservation and makes Granudacyn® a reliable wound irrigation solution. HOCl prevents the proliferation of gram positive and negative bacteria, including MRSA, ORSA, VRSA, VRE, as well as viruses, fungi and spores in the solution.

Granudacyn® can be used to clean, moisten and irrigate the following wound types:

• All chronic wounds of any depth such as diabetic foot ulcers, decubitus ulcers, venous leg ulcers etc
• All acute wounds such as cuts, bites, lacerations, lacerations and abrasions
• Surgical wounds (intraoperative and postoperative)
• Wounds with exposed cartilage, tendons, ligaments and/or bone
• First and second degree burns
• radiation ulcers
• fistulas and abscesses
• Body cavities such as ear, nose, mouth
• Critically colonized or infected (here adjuvant) wounds
• soft tissue injuries

Application:

1. Carefully clean the wound with Granudacyn® wound irrigation solution.
2. Spray onto the cleaned wound from a distance of 15-30 cm.
3. Clean the wound mechanically with wet compresses or use them to loosen deposits during a wet phase.
4. Can be combined with standard wound dressings.
